This is my card for aMAZEing adventure frog's Spring Craft & Swap LTC tracker. My card is called "Gelli Fish".I have been thinking about using my Gelli Plate more and thought this tracker would be a good opportunity. I carved my stamp got started on the card right away making the blue gelli background.
Then I made the paper for the fish, stamped the fish, and started cutting them out. When I had a few cut out, my daughter dumped a big glass of tea over on my craft desk. I had to throw away all the fish.
I was so frustrated that I put the cards away for a while. But I got over it and finished the cards.The sequins were a pain. I had some mixed sequins and went thru them looking for clear ones. I couldn't find very many so I went to the craft store to buy some. They didn't have the color I wanted. I bought some on Etsy and they ended up being the wrong color. I bought another package online and they were perfect.
I glued them on with craft glue and I hope they survive the trip. A few of them fell off while I was getting the cards ready to go. I am very happy with how the cards turned out :)
